The Raspberry Pi 5 is the latest addition to the Raspberry Pi range.
Compared to its predecessor, it features the faster 2.4GHz Broadcom BCM2712, ARM Cortex-A76 CPU and VideoCore VII GPU compatible with OpenGL ES 3.1, Vulkan 1.2, as well as improved heat dissipation. It features significant improvements in the camera, display and even the USB interface.
The power management IC used on the Raspberry Pi 5 integrates a real-time clock and a coin cell charging circuit that can power the clock when the main power is disconnected. The Raspberry Pi 5 features two quad-lane MIPI connectors, each of which can support a camera or display. These interface improvements are brought about by the RP1 I/O controller chip.

Raspberry Pi 5 is a powerful and versatile single board computer, which can be used for a variety of applications such as DIY projects, educational tools, media centers, servers, desktop computers and many other IoT use cases.
